Idol is a travesty but Harry- you played the game brilliantly. You sang a beautiful ballad and I hope it drove Simon nuts. He's made so many disparaging remarks about good music. No way he could deny your talent. It's a shame to put amateurs in the embarrassing position of sounding like amateurs that can't swing or phrase or authentically feel the music. You did your best with them and the arrangements were excellent. Greed and mediocrity lose this time. Thanks for keeping jazz alive and still king.
