(New York, NY) -- Monday, August 28th, 2017 -- Legendary singer and songwriter Billy Joel kicks off premiere week for the sophomore season of Harry Connick, Jr.’s syndicated daytime entertainment show, “Harry” returning on Tuesday, September 12th.

This marks Joel’s first appearance in daytime in over a decade. In addition to a solo performance by Joel, Connick joins him to perform a duet of one of the Piano Man’s classic hits. Academy Award nominee Candice Bergen, The Empress of Soul Gladys Knight, actor and producer Tyler Perry, actress Kristen Bell, actor and singer Terrence Howard, actress America Ferrera, actor Seth MacFarlane, actor Terry Crews, the cast of “Will & Grace” & the cast of “Fuller House” join Connick this season on “Harry.”

“Harry” continues to highlight everyday people including Teresa Danks, a public school teacher from Oklahoma who took to panhandling on the side of the road to raise money to buy classroom supplies for her third grade students; as well as retired Navy veteran, N’Neka Malone, a partner in the Urban Warriors Program at the Chicago YMCA, which pairs military veterans with youth in dangerous neighborhoods to share common life experiences to survive coping in hostile backgrounds.

“Harry” also shines a spotlight on extraordinary kids including Jesselyn “JessZilla” Silva, an 11-year-old female boxer from the Bronx with aspirations to compete in the 2024 Olympics and 5-year-old Gospel singer and viral sensation Caleb Serrano.

“Harry" is an hour of entertaining television focused on uplifting and inspiring people every day. The show celebrates everyday people making a difference in their communities, as well as delivering laughter and fun through a variety of comedic segments, audience participation, human-interest stories, celebrity interviews, musical performances and lots of surprises. Connick, who is joined by his touring band, shines a spotlight on ordinary women who are doing the extraordinary by empowering others every single day. “Harry” returns for season two on Tuesday, September 12th.
